If I pay my credit card before the statement, is this good for my credit or bad for my credit?

Hi everyone, I got a Citi card. I always pay it before the statement online. So every statement date I will got a balance $0. Is this good for my credit or bad for my credit?

Can someone help please, Thank you|||Any time you have available credit, and you use the card and dont have a revolving balance, its a good thing. You are showing you are responsible with the credit, and you are not accruing interest! Keep up the good work. |||This is good for your credit and your wallet. By paying in full before the due date you avoid paying interest, (assuming that your card has a grace period--if it doesn't you should get a better card.)

What hurts your credit is if you are 30 days or more past the due date.

What hurts your wallet is if you are ANY days past the due date as penalties and interest will kick in at that point.

You don't HAVE to pay before the statement arrives but just BE SURE that you do so well before the due date.

BTW some card issurers are really nasty about that due date. When account holders are just barely on time--Some banks have been reported to sit on the check for a day or two and log it in as a late payment so they can hit you with the late fees and interest. Some start their Fiscal Day at 9:00am so that a payment that arrives on the actual calendar date it is due is automatically late due the next fiscal day starting at 9:00am, (before the mail is even delivered.)|||Paying before you get the statement really doesn't help you credit score. You can wait for the statement and just pay before the due date, thus taking advantage of the grace period float.

The only thing that matters is that it's paid before the due date.|||It's always good to pay your bills early! Paying it in full and early is a quick and easy way to build credit, I've been doing that for the past year or so and my credit is now up in the mid 700's! Keep up the good work! :)|||Doesn't affect it, only when it is overdrawn. They take it out on a set date so they will no know if you put it in a week or 3 weeks earlier, they only care when it is LATE!|||This is great for your credit in the sense that you don't carry much debt. PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE don't get yourself in credit touble and KEEP UP THESE GOOD HABITS!|||It does not have any effect neither good nor bad. I mean I guess is good but it wont increment your credit score. |||Doesn't affect it at all, just shows that you pay on time.|||As long as you pay your bill on time its good for your credit.. |||Very good. Late payments are bad.|||paying it is good, it doesnt matter when u do it, just has to be before the bill is due.|||neither|||How could you even think that this is bad for your credit? Keep up the good work!|||It's great....all that happens is that you don't attract any interest because your balance is paid off before the due date.

|||It's good. |||How could repaying your debt on time be bad?

????

Its good.|||absolutely no difference as long as it is paid on time.|||paying debt early or on time great for your credit score

|||thats REALLY good! =)
