How long should a graduate school statement be describing goals?

I'm applying to graduate school and one of the requirements is a signed and dated goal statement indicating career and academic goals. Approximately how long should this statement be?|||It should be no longer than a page, no shorter than two paragraphs. Start out briefly explaining what you have strengths in and what that has led you to as far as a desire to do grad study. Then go through your academic goals, then career goals and how schooling at that school will greatly contribute to your career goals.
