What does 'closing date' on a magazine statement mean?

I subscribed to a magazine last month and chose the 'bill me later' option. I just got my statement and it has the closing date as 27th April but no due date. Just wondering what this means.|||That is when your billing cycle closes and no more activity is printed until the next cycle...Pay more attention to your date date on the bill which is located to the left side of the statement.
