Do i wait for statement to pay credit card in full or before due date is assigned?

To get the benefit of good payment history and no interest.|||As long as you consistently pay your bill before the PAYMENT DEADLINE, you will not be charged interest on purchases. You do no good by paying your balance before the statement arrives.

Keep in mind that your payment must be RECEIVED by noon on the payment deadline. Mail can take a week to cross the country from coast to coast. Send your payment early enough to reach its destination.|||You can call the credit card company, request your payoff amount. Once you receive your exact pay off amount, then make the payment. Or, you can wait until you receive the statement, pay it off before the due date and you will avoid the interest accrued.
