If i make a purchase on my credit card after the closing date will it show up on my next statement?

My credit card says it has a closing date of Aug. 21, so if i make a purchase today (Aug. 23) will it show up on my next statement, not my current one. It says my statement is from Jul 23-Aug 21. So if i make a purchase now it won't be until next month?|||That is probably correct. Make the transaction late in the day just in case--or wait a day longer.
